Katy Tunbridge began penning « Lying Through Your Teeth » with a burst of inspiration that many can relate to – an invasion of privacy. « I started writing the song when my neighbors kept on opening my mail and saying they didn’t or told me that they thought it was theirs. I then started thinking about all the ways people lie, in relationships, business, politics and the song developed from there » Tunbridge said.
